Social Anxiety States

vvvv
Fear is a natural feeling that ensures our survival. Without them, we would
take risks and endanger our health or our lives. But anxiety can also get
morbid.
How does an anxiety disorder express itself?
Generalized anxiety disorder is the most prevalent form and manifests itself in
worries, anxiety and catastrophic thoughts about what might happen and, from the
point of view of the person concerned, is even likely to happen at the moment.
The fears usually relate to several areas of life such as workplace, relationship,
finances and last months.
Typical symptoms are: restlessness, easy fatigability, difficulties concentrating,
irritability, increased muscle tension, sleep disorders.
The fears and worries usually occur together with physical reactions such as
sweating and muscle tension.
MediTool offers you two self-tests as an aid:
Self-test for testing the anxiety score
Self-test for testing the social anxiety score
With the help of the tests, you can make an initial assessment of your current
general anxiety.
PLEASE NOTE: These tests does not replace a professional diagnosis. Please contact
your family doctor, a specialist or psychotherapist.
In the Symptom Diary you can specify these symptoms in more detail with regard to
situation, thoughts, etc. This gives you the opportunity to respond to these
situations / thoughts during a therapy within the discussions and to recognize
possible alternatives together with the therapist. Then enter these alternatives
with the corresponding diary entries in the field Alternative. So you have possibly
approaches directly at hand in similar situations / thoughts.
In the App menu, a PDF print function is available with which you can print entries for your therapy sessions and write down helpful ones directly.
